About toni

Who is Toni?

Toni Paci is a graduate of the Scuola Italiana Design and of several independent specialization courses in the qualified institutions of the Hastings College of Arts and Technology, Costa de Valencia and France Langue.

His years at the Scuola Italiana Design have refined his artistic and creative abilities while his practical, hands-on experiences have taught him the nuances of the trade. The collaborative nature of the design industry has helped forge his passion for joint projects and strengthened his interpersonal skills in the workplace.

His first work experience at Satyendra Pakhalé Design Studio in Amsterdam is a testament to his ability and ambition; a studio which boasts past and present collaborative partnerships with renowned companies such as Alessi, Bosa, Cappellini, Colombo Design, Erreti, Magis, Moroso, Tubes, Craft, Offecct, Väveriet and organizations such as Material ConneXion.

Then he worked as a Communication Designer for General Membrane Spa. His position entailed the digital and graphical elements of company and market branding.

He currently works at Giorgio Fedon Spa, a market leader in accessories for optics, as a Product Design Engineer for the brand Fedon, dedicated to the world of travel and office.

Nikon Talents 2012

A selection of award-winning photographs exhibited at the Nikon Talents 2012 Nital Spa photography competition. These pictures were captured with the aim to stimulate passion and creativity in photography.

Tutto inizia da Zero - Algida

Photographs awarded at the competition Café Zero °, "Everything starts from Zero". Promoted by Algida, an Italian company specializing in the production of ice-creams by the the Anglo-Dutch company, Unilever.

Premio Murano 2012

More than two decades since its last production, the School Abate Zanetti has become a promoter of the newest edition of the Murano Award. The award is given to a competitor from Murano art community at this historical event that promotes the artistic creations in Murano glass. The award promotes and enhances the artistic tradition of Murano glass craftsmanship. It strives to create a point of contact between contemporary art and the glassmakers of Murano. The Furnace prize, awarded by the master glassmaker Pino Signoretto, first place was awarded to industrial designer Toni Paci and veteran glassworker Francesco Badioli.

Salone 2012 - Design<->Technology

The Salone was the first event to focus on young design talent and immediately became the quintessential meeting ground for manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers. Its creation in 1998 by Cosmit was an act of faith in the creative potential of young people. Many of the prototypes presented in previous editions have gone into production, and many of the designers who debuted at the have since become important names. It is on the basis of these principles that the Salone has always looked to the future, and it does so again this year with the theme “Design<->Technology”, to which the overall installation and a special exhibition of 15 interpretations by 15 designers, former and current participants in the ,are dedicated: Massimiliano Adami, Azumi, Alessandra Baldereschi, Big Game, Diego Grandi, Tobias Fraenzel, Staffan Holm, Satyendra Pakhalè, Donata Paruccini, Postfossil, Studio Adriano, Studio Juju, Sebastian Wrong, Nika Zupanc and Cromatina Design.

Kitchen Story - Past, Present, Future by Franke

The kitchen - yesterday, today and tomorrow - Franke’s Kitchen Story traces seven decades of the history of the Italian kitchen, from 1948 to the present day, paying extra attention to the future. Narrating the evolution of kitchen design, the exhibit depicts the important contribution Franke has made to the transformation of the kitchen. Designer Satyendra Pakhalè gives his insider brief on how he wanted to render the Kitchen a warm inviting space - focusing on colour and shape. Franke’s Crystal White 60+ My Menu oven is the centre piece.

Consegna diplomi Master 2010 2011

Ospiti principali dell’incontro alcuni dei protagonisti di "Gioielli (in cerca) d’autore", il progetto realizzato dalla Categoria Metalli Preziosi di Confartigianato con la collaborazione di Scuola Italiana Design. Sul palco si sono susseguiti, nel racconto di questa esperienza, Luisella Frezzato, responsabile del progetto, Eugenio Farina, coordinatore del progetto per Scuola Italiana Design, e Franco Pozzebon, presidente della Categoria. A seguire, il momento più atteso per i masteristi: la consegna dei diplomi dalle mani dell’Ingegner Malaguti e del dottor Pellizzaro, una celebrazione che, sia formalmente che simbolicamente, chiude l’esperienza presso la nostra scuola di una cinquantina di studenti.

Si sono conclusi i lavori del workshop organizzato dalla Scuola Italiana Design per la definizione della nuova linea grafica destinata alla campagna "5 per mille 2010" dell'Istituto Oncologico Veneto - IOV . Tra gli oltre 60 lavori realizzati dagli studenti sono stati individuati i più originali, che resteranno esposti presso lo storico Caffè, e quello prescelto per sostenere lo IOV nel corso della campagna del "5 per mille".

SID Rovinji Workshop 2009

Si è concluso il SID Rovinj Workshop 2009. Un’esperienza entusiasmante per tutti i partecipanti alla settimana di creatività. Nel pomeriggio di venerdì 13 grande soddisfazione per la presentazione dei progetti. Dopo un’attesa e una preparazione durata tutta la mattina, i sei gruppi hanno descritto le loro idee di prodotto sotto gli occhi attenti dei responsabili di PubCompany e Ferrero al fine di conoscere, condividere e comunicare.

Premiazione al Young? Creative? Chevrolet! 2009

Oggi, venerdì 3 aprile, una giuria di giornalisti esperti del mondo dell’automobile, del design, della moda e della fotografia si è riunita presso la sede di Chevrolet Italia a Roma e ha giudicato le opere presentate dai giovani artisti, studenti delle scuole d’arte applicata di tutta Italia, alla terza edizione del concorso Young? Creative? Chevrolet! 2009. Il 2° posto nella disciplina Fotografia è stato assegnato a Toni Paci, Paola Amabile, Matteo Viale, gruppo di studenti della Scuola Italiana di Design di Padova.
